SGV is a campaign group fighting to preserve the Glem Valley Special Landscape Area in Suffolk (Stour Valley Project) adjacent to the Dedham Vale AONB.

This was triggered by a proposal for a major new solar farm in Boxted from an energy multinational called Renewable Energy Solutions Ltd.

We have also found that there are now eight solar sites in operation/being installed or being proposed within a 4 mile local area.

This is developing into a massive industrialisation of our countryside, landscape and farming land.

We believe this will have a devastating effect.
